What grades do you have at your school? We have preschool through 12th grade. On what days and at what times is your preschool program offered? We have two different preschool programs. The first one is for 3 year olds and 4 years olds who will not be entering kindergarten the next fall. This class meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30 – 11:30 am. The second program is for 4 and 5 year olds who will be entering kindergarten the next fall. This program has two options: one is half day, and the other is full day. Both classes meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday starting at 8:30. The half day students leave at 11:30, while the full day students stay until 3:30. Is your kindergarten half day or full day? We have two options for kindergarten. Students may either stay half day (8:30 – 11:30) or all day (8:30 – 3:30). Core subjects are taught in the mornings, while specials (like art and music) and enhanced learning opportunities are offered in the afternoon. How much is tuition? Please see this page for the current tuition and fee schedule. Does tuition cover all the costs for the school? Our budget is based on approximately 80% funding from tuition and 20% from fundraising and other gifts. We generally have two main fundraisers during the school year. In the fall, we have Dessert Banquet that features a Christian speaker. In the spring, we have a musical or other type of program coupled with a silent auction. The purpose of our fundraising is to not only help support our school, but rather to bless those who attend and give glory to God. What is your admission process? Parents may request an admission packet from the school. When the forms are returned with the registration fee, a meeting will be scheduled with the parents and representatives from the school board. Since we are a Christian school, we ask that at least one parent in the family know Jesus at his/her Savior. The meeting with the board members is essentially an opportunity for families to share about their faith in Jesus and ask any questions they may have about the school. Is your school affiliated with any church denomination? No, we are a nondenominational school that is independently funded. We have students from several different denominations who attend our school. Please see our “Foundational Beliefs” page for our statement of faith. What is the school's dress code like? We do not have school uniforms. The dress code is based on what is proper and modest attire. Some clothing, which is currently fashionable, is neither modest nor appropriate for a school setting. It is our expectation that the parent(s)/guardian(s) will help their children develop discretion in selecting their wardrobe.
